Hive Hotel and Convention Center
68 Scout Tuazon corner Scout Madriñan Streets

The Hive Hotel and Convention center is a “retro retreat”, as you’ll soon discover from its groovy, throwback vibe. Once the site of My Brother’s Mustache Folk Bar, it is now incorporated into the hotel’s ground floor. Hive is also an eco-chic hotel that practices sustainability and environmental responsibility, from its construction to its amenities.

There are two hotels we recommend you to stay at:

Hive Hotel costs a minimum of ₱3,000 (80 USD) a night. It’s a green hotel made of reclaimed wood and all-natural materials with a retro 70s design. It has party rooms that can accommodate up to 8 people.

Cocoon Boutique Hotel, sister hotel of Hive and also an eco-conscious establishment, costs a minimum of ₱4,200 (90 USD) a night. Located only a couple of blocks away, it’s a 5-minute walk to the conference venue.

(Hint: Hive has a jacuzzi; Cocoon has a pool.)

We recommend going to the venue by cab or car. For public mass transport, check out the commute options recommended by Hive Hotel or

Taxi fare from the airport to the venue will cost you about 500-700 Philippine Pesos (10-15 USD). (Beware of taxi drivers asking you for a fixed fare. If this happens, look for another one.)

Several app-based ride services are also available, which can be safer to use:
